Google Business Profile
Get found in Maps, Search, and the local pack
Your Google Business Profile is the single highest-leverage asset most local businesses ignore — it's free, it controls how you appear in Google Maps and the local pack, and it captures customers actively searching for what you do. We claim it, optimize it, integrate it with your website, and keep it active so you stay ranked, reviewed, and on the first page.
How we approach it
Profile Claim & Verification
If your listing is unclaimed, duplicated, or stuck on a wrong owner, we sort it out. Verification by postcard, video, or phone — whichever Google gives you.
Optimization for Every Field
Primary + secondary categories, service-area definitions, attributes, hours, products, services with descriptions, FAQs, and Q&A seeded with the questions buyers actually ask.
Photo & Video Strategy
Exterior, interior, team, work-in-progress, and product photography organized into the categories Google ranks. Updated monthly, not once.
Review Generation & Response
QR codes, post-service email/SMS templates, and a same-day review-response workflow. We help you request reviews ethically and respond to every one — positive or critical.
Google Posts Cadence
Weekly Posts covering offers, events, products, and updates so your profile stays active. Active profiles rank higher and convert better than dormant ones.
NAP & Schema Integration
Name, address, and phone consistency across web. Schema.org LocalBusiness markup on your website matched to your GBP listing — Google's local algorithm cross-references both.
What we deliver
Common questions
What is a Google Business Profile and why does it matter?
Your Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) is the listing that appears in Google Maps, the local 3-pack at the top of search results, and the right-side panel on branded searches. For most local businesses it's the single most-visited touchpoint outside their own website — and it's free. An optimized profile means more calls, more directions, more website visits, more customers.
How long until I see results?
Profile-level changes (categories, hours, photos) take effect within 24-48 hours. Ranking improvements in the local pack typically show within 4-8 weeks of consistent posting and review activity. Results compound — months 3-6 are usually when the profile becomes a meaningful lead source.
Do you respond to reviews on my behalf?
Yes — included in the monthly retainer. We respond to every review (positive and negative) within one business day using your brand voice. For sensitive reviews we draft, you approve, then we publish. We don't ghost-write reviews or use any tactic that violates Google's policies.
How does this compare to running Google Ads?
Google Ads is rented attention — when you stop paying, the leads stop. GBP is owned attention — every photo, post, review, and category lift compounds. Most clients run both: GBP for sustained organic visibility, Ads for time-sensitive promotions or filling capacity gaps. We can advise on the mix.
I have multiple locations. Can you handle that?
Yes. We use Google's Business Profile Manager (the bulk-management tool) for chains and franchises. Per-location optimization, location-group-level posts and offers, and a consolidated reporting view across the whole footprint.
What if my profile is suspended or has duplicates?
Suspensions and duplicates are surprisingly common — and fixable. We diagnose the cause (NAP mismatch, prohibited content, ownership confusion), file the right appeal or merge, and get it cleaned up. Some cases take 1-3 weeks; we'll tell you upfront what to expect.
Will this work for service-area businesses (no storefront)?
Absolutely. Plumbers, electricians, mobile detailers, lawn-care, etc. — service-area businesses get a profile that lists service zones instead of a public address. The optimization playbook is mostly the same, with extra emphasis on service descriptions and review velocity.
How is this priced?
Setup is a fixed one-time fee that depends on the current state of your profile (claimed vs. unclaimed, suspended, duplicated, etc.). Ongoing management is a monthly retainer that scales with location count and review volume. We'll give you a fixed-price quote after a 15-minute audit call.
