Overview

Constructive Solutions LLC has been a manufacturer representative since 1990, linking building product manufacturers with the architects, contractors and building owners who specify and install them across the Great Lakes region. It represents six product lines in CSI Divisions 7, 8 and 10: sunshades and architectural grilles, automatic door systems, sealants and waterproofing, fire-rated glazing and door hardware, fire door lite kits and louvers, and rolling security doors and shutters.

The Challenge

Architects and contractors think in CSI divisions and product categories, not in manufacturer names. The site had to let a specifier find the right line from either direction, explain what the rep actually does for each audience, and make it obvious what to send when getting in touch.

Our Solution

We built an Astro site with a page for each of the six product lines and each of the three CSI divisions, so a visitor can start from a division or a product and land in the same place. The homepage splits the rep's role by audience (specification help for architects, submittals and lead times for contractors, lifecycle advice for owners), and the contact page lists what to send for a spec question, a bid, a lunch and learn or a problem on site.
